Poulet au Four

This one is a great recipe for a big family meal, and rather easy to make. It takes some time in the oven, so it is perfect for Sundays. Here are the ingredients:

  • 1 chicken

  • 5 potatoes

  • 2 carrots

  • 2 onions

  • 1 Kohlrabi

  • 1 branch of fresh petersilie

  1. The first thing is to fry the chicken in a big pan until the skin is golden. Peel all the vegetables and cut them in big chunks of 1 or 2 cm.

2. in an oven casserole or Dutch oven, add some of the vegetables at the bottom, and then put the chicken on top. Then add the rest of the vegetables, 150 ml of vegetable broth, and a small glass of white wine.

3. cover the Dutch oven and put in the oven at 200ºC for 40 min. Baste the chicken as often as possible during cooking.

Serve the chicken and some of the vegetables with rice, potato puree, or fresh pasta.
